A pet can show behaviors or symptoms that indicate a dental problem. Some of these symptoms may include:

  • Bleeding or red gums
  • A loss of appetite or pawing at the mouth
  • Drooling more than normal
  • Discoloration of the teeth
  • Foul breath
  • Atypical behaviors such as an inability to sleep or increased aggression
