A pet can show behaviors or symptoms that indicate a dental problem. Some of these symptoms may include:
- Bleeding or red gums
- A loss of appetite or pawing at the mouth
- Drooling more than normal
- Discoloration of the teeth
- Foul breath
- Atypical behaviors such as an inability to sleep or increased aggression
